EMS344 Line Conditioning Controller is used to control a multi tap transformer to provide a stable output voltage given variable Line input conditions. It selects the best 2 of the 3 incoming phases and then selects the appropriate secondary tap for the desired output voltage. It finds applications in Telecom cell sites where mains voltage varies due to heavy loading and/or long transmission line losses.
